Tomorrow begins our challenge of reading the Bible in 90 days. As a Christian, I have spent a lot of time in the word but if I’m being honest, there is so much I haven’t even skimmed over. It’s time that I read the entire thing. Something that is the center of my belief system and I haven’t even read it all? It doesn’t seem right. I am looking forward to really exploring it as a whole. By the way, we are calling the challenge B90X.
I’m watching Purple Rain on Vh1 and memories are rushing back of me at age nine seeing it for the first time. I remember watching Appolonia and wanting to be just like her when I grew up. A nine year old wanting to be like the sluttiest female figure to come out of the 80’s? A girl who was in love with a guy who wore purple velvet, more ruffles than a blushing bride, and had a stage 5 greasy jerry curl? That can’t be normal.

My old life is in storage back down south. I’m like one of those birds who built a nest on the ceiling corner right above a porch swing and it got thrown away by the women watering her ferns. I’m now gathering sticks and making my new nest. In a new place. The place.

I love how they put “Big Delicious Cookies” as opposed to “Small Mediocre Cookies”. How were the sandwich fixins?
